This year we are doing a little bit of square foot gardening. Meredith read up on it and then she carefully educated me on how to get things going. We built a little planter box and then we got started. We planted carrots, lettuce, beans, peas, cucumbers, zucchini, broccoli, pumpkins and other vegetables as well. So far so good. Things are a little too crowded I think, so I will continue to thin things out more. We are hoping to continue this every year and try to maximize what we can get out of such a small area.
