Each student in Tyler’s class were given the name of a person who was an achiever in one way or another. The students then had to research these individuals so they could understand their life story and how they overcame challenges in their life. They put a lot of work into this project which culminated in an event at the school called Afternoon of Achievers. Each student dressed up as their achiever and then the parents were given the chance to ask questions of the students to try and figure out who they were. I was able to figure out all but two of the kids. One was a dead comic and the other was a female astronaut and I couldn’t remember her name.
